Bedouin Tent Rentals

For centuries, the bedouin tent sheltered desert dwellers. Known as a “beit al-sha’r,” or “house of hair,” these tents were made by soldiers or herders, who wove the natural fiber of their camels, sheep, or goats into strips of coarse cloth known as “fala’if,” which were then sewn together. The tents traditionally are dark-hued in color due to the predominant use of black goat hair that fades to brown over time in the Sahara sun. Depending on size, bedouin tents are supported by a single middle pole or additional poles.

While the bedouin tent’s original purpose was to act as a refuge from the harsh desert climate, today, it can provide your event or production with a natural, organic feel and help set a primitive yet exotic mood.
